received numerous calls fro this number. When I answer they hang up

They left an automated message at my last place of employment stating that I have a returned check on my account, and that I need to call them back. First off, leaving messages to people other than the person they are seeking is illegal. They were told to refrain from calling, but still do. They were told to mail that person whatever it is they need. What should I do.

This number keeps calling me all the time. Won't leave a message. I don't know anyone from this area code or any where near it. Researched information and it turns out this is a telemarketer wanting people's credit card numbers for a "gas card" they won.

Has been calling my home phone for the past week - sometimes 3 times a day. I have picked up the phone twice and no-one answers and when I try calling back a recording tells me to redial again since my call is not complete. This is very annoying since they call late in the evening as well. I have not spoken with anyone yet though.

The person called me and had a heavy accent (Arabic or Indian?) and said he was officer [can't remember name] and that I was in some kind of legal trouble. He told me that I was going to be arrested. He wanted to verify my social security number and I refuseed. When I questioned his identity, he hung up on me.

Continually calls on a daily basis and hangs up the minute you answer.

Calling my parents house asking for me and not telling others what the matter is about, also hangs up when ever my family picks up

John called my phone stating that he was working with the government office and I was selected to get a 5000 refund. He asked for my bank account information and stayed that he knew my address ;when I denied him my info and I told him I was going to report him he starting cursing me out...this is a fraud

They have called several time and leave no message

They make up a name and ask for that person. When I tell them they have the wrong number, they start calling me by that name. Then they try to sell me prescription drugs. I asked them if it is illegal to sell prescription drugs without a prescription and they hung up on me. I thought I had lost them, but they keep calling.

Got a call at 11:44 on 15 NOV 10....he asked if I was in the lawncare business (I used to be, but am no longer.) I told him that I am not in lawncare anymore, so he asked what sort of business I'm in now. I told him this is neither important, nor any of his business, at which point he laughed and sarcastically said, "Oh, so your business is not important. That's interesting." When I asked, "So you're going to be a smart a** now?" he laughed again, and then stayed on the line for a few moments before promptly hanging up on me. All of this is ignoring the fact that the number he called was our HOME PHONE NUMBER, and was never affiliated with the business. These people are RIDICULOUS.
